Jenny joined Burton Copeland in April 2022 but has a huge amount of experience in Criminal Law.
She first embarked on her career in 1985 and obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005. Throughout her career she has worked for a number of different criminal law firms in the North West. Despite having taken several career breaks, she has amassed almost 25 years experience working in criminal law at all levels.
Jenny is an Accredited Police Station Advisor and has advised over 1000 clients at police stations throughout her careers for all a full spectrum of offences from shoplifting to terrorism.
Jenny is currently based at the Manchester office working as a litigator in the Crown Court Department preparing cases for trial. She has experiences in a broad range of offences including conspiracy to rob, conspiracy to supply controlled drugs, murder, rape, indecent assault and possession and distribution of indecent images.
Her particular specialism is dealing with clients suffering from mental health issues and disorders including ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder and psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia.
